Marra spent the afternoon eating sand. Yum, good fiber!
Never thought I would do it, but we bought a couple of kites and enjoyed a couple hours on the beach flying them. Peyton could have stayed out all day. His kite was a dollar din bargin, and the easiest kite to fly. It was fun to have Steve home for the weekend and enjoy time with the family with out having to be anywhere!!!

Was that your house in the background? Man! I'm missing out living in New York!

Love flying kites!! My dad has quite the collection, big ones, shiny ones, colorful ones, ones that require two people... lots of good times at the elementary school flying kites. :o)

My dad was a kite man, and I remember many happy hours at the park. He had some huge trick kites, the kind that have two strings so you can make them do flips and spins. They were so big I couldn't do them myself until I was well into my teens. They would have pulled me off the ground!
Beautiful pictures! Got to love that beach! (our keys are still somewhere out in that water!)
